Mark is the founder and managing partner of NetCareers, and he focuses on executive level (C-Suite, VP and Director level) searches in Sales, Product Mangement, and Engineering. Prior to founding NetCareers, Mark worked for Management Recruiters of Salt Lake City, one of MRI’s top ten offices. Mark was responsible for starting the firm’s Data and Telecom practice and rapidly built it into one of the most successful practices within MRI’s 600 offices. His production level placed him in the top 1% of all recruiters in the MRI system, and he was often recognized for his high achievement. Prior to becoming an executive recruiter, Mark held several managerial sales and business development positions in both the Petroleum and Information Technology industries. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 and started his career as an Account Executive for EMC Corporation.

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking an upbeat, self-motivated and highly driven professional to support new sales opportunities. Client is reinventing fixed wireless access and you will be on the leading edge of driving this
revolution. Our innovations in wireless technology are revolutionizing the broadband industry, delivering gigabit residential service at a fraction of the cost of trenching fiber, with tier-1 operators already working on mass deployment. We are looking for a talented and aggressive
leader to lead our strategic business development initiatives:

Key Experience & Responsibilities:

● Proven leading in developing new business via direct sales and partnerships.
● Experience working outside of the USA with Tier 1 carriers.
● At least 10 year’s experience in driving large, complex sales opportunities for software, hardware & services sales
● Develop and ecosystem of partners that can help expand our addressable markets and bring robust solutions to our customers.
● Proven track record in developing new accounts and hunting for new business, direct and through partners.
● Develop business in new, tier 1 accounts where they have yet to establish a direct sales presence.
● Develop and own key industry partnerships that can help to develop new business for client or help our customers to expand and grow their business.
● Experience working with partners to develop and close business. Proven ability to develop and execute a sales strategy that includes partners.
● Ability to manager customer relationships at all levels – enable parallel top down sales thru executive relationships and bottom up sales through working level teams
● Develop key relationships and ability to establish “trusted status” with customers and partners.
● Strong technical as well as business skills with understanding of service provider cost of ownership
● Proven ability to lead and close contract negotiations.
● Demonstrated ability to translate deeply technical content into accessible and compelling forms, both long and short, and for both technical and non-technical audiences.
● Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field
